so since Munich i have been to Paris France, Mainz Germany, Vienna Austria, Interlaken Switzerland, Berlin Germany and then this lake that boarders Austria Germany and Switzerland called konstance. its been amazing! there has been so many crazy sorries and i wish i hate more time to update this because there is no way i could write them all in here.
last weekend i was on the train and we stoped suddenly and were delayed. they said something over the intercom in german and everyone started to get mad. but i did not understand it so we just waited. after about 20 mini asked someone what was going on. it turned out that there was some crazy woman hiding in the bushes in the drak waiting for our train to go by so she would jump in fount of it and kill herself... i was shocked i honestly never thought that would be the reason i would be stoped. after the police came they found her but it took about an hour... we missed our next connection and didnt get home till about 130..
camp with the kids has been crazy its a lot harder than last year but i guess i kind of expected that because last year was just way too easy. i go home in 19 days and im kinda of ready its been an amazing time and im so excited for this weekend in Amsterdam but i kind of miss home and miss my life at shcool.

Munich!
So on Friday night we left our apartment all dressed up ready to go out for the weekend! We had our backpacks packed ready for the weekend and our dancing clothes on. We went to kaiserslautern around 11 put our back packs in lockers at the train station and went to the club near by called Nachtschicht. It was a crazy club there were 4 dance floors with different types of music! It was crazy like something out of a movie! Im pretty sure all the Germany people there were on ecstasy! We had a lot of fun there but around 3 AM we left the club and went back to the train station we got on a train and then took a 7 hour train ride complete with 4 changes and a few layovers we didn’t think we would make! There was one train that went though a town called Kissing and we were delayed for 30 min because someone was kissing on the train tracks and they had to call the police and get the couple off the tracks, or at least that’s what the man next to us said because the message they said over the inter com was in German…. Anyways once we go there at like 10 am we went to our hostel to check it out! It was pretty nice some of our friends were staying in one called the wombat and that was really nice. About 5 feet next to that one was the one I stayed at called jaegers. That was more shady but still decent I slept in a 40 person room! After we went there we went to Dachau concentration camp. It was a surreal experience. I got chills at some points. I already knew most of the history but actually seeing a crematorium and the gas chambers was eerie. I couldn’t believe that this happened less than 100 years ago.
After that we went back to our hostel went out on the town for a little and then back to bed. It had been a long day and on that night I realized that I hadn’t slept since Thursday night and it was then Saturday night. Then we woke up early on Sunday and went to a art museum. It was crazy we saw a Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, and Rubens! It was crazy hearing and seeing pictures of these famous paintings and finally seeing it! All in all its been an amazing trip so far!

our first weekend!
So today we went to Heidelberg and saw Heidelberg Castle! its an amazing castle dating back hundreds of years! ( i forget the date but i think it was either 1300 or 1400) it had an amazing history!
we first took the train from Landstuhl to Heidelberg. the town is so cute! it seriously looks like it just came out of Disneyland! i didn't know little German towns looks like they do in the movies! i got some sausage and sauerkraut and gelato (yes my day revolves around food). then we took a STEEP hike up this mountain to the castle! the view from up there was so amazing! it was like nothing ive eve seen before. you could see the chaple the castle the rhine river and bridges! it was breath taking! we took a guided tour of the castle and that was great because we learned all the history! i was excited because some of it had to do with chuch and even refernces to king Henry the 8th and it made me think of the tudors. parts fo the catle are in runins because of wars fires and it was even struk by lighting twice!
after the castle we went and walked aorund the town. as we were walking my friends molly and jesssica and i kind of got serperated from our group and this man with a lot of people follwoing him apporched us and tried to sell us stuff. it was so weird! he was wearing a mask and and county jain jump suit. it was like a big joke and people were laughing but i sware i felt like i was on jack ass or something they were trying to sell us like lacy underwhere and vodka shooters!
thats another thing about germany, they dont have any laws against open containers so on trains taxis , walking around town ,everywhere peolpe have beer in bottles or cups what ever! its crazy people are just so much more laied back about it! i think america could learn a little from them haha
miss you all and love you very much

Germany day one
So the plane ride from Seattle to Detroit there was a girl roller derby team behind me that was interesting. I slept for most of the ride apart from the time where I woke up mid sentence sleeps talking to the man next to me. In a daze I reached for my now pressurized camel pack water bottle and it sprayed water all over me and my seat making my seat and lap an uncomfortable damp for the reminder of that ride. Anyways once we got to Detroit we meet up with about 20 other camp people and got on the plane to Frankfort. That was a long flight but we had on demand movies so I watched “he’s just not that into you” and I honestly feel like they made that movie for me…. I get it now. He’s just not that into me and yes I am/ was that girl that would rationalize things like maybe he lost my number… I feel better now seeing that movie though. I tired watching the curious case of Benjamin button but after being up for so long I couldn’t do it and just crashed. Surprisingly airplane food has gotten so much better. Or I was just a lot hunger anyways all in all it was a good trip over here.
I didn’t realize how green Germany is it’s so beautiful here! There is like forest everywhere! I want to go exploring but I am so tired I cant. Originally I was supposed to be working at a camp by myself but I guess now that base is fazed out and I will be working with about 30 other counselors here at Ramsten I’m so happy about it!
We also have a great living situation! We have apartments with4 bedrooms and I think 6 girls will be sharing it 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen with dishwasher and a huge living room! I have 2 huge closets, which I'm very excited about!
Its really exciting because there is one I went to Okinawa with here at Ramstien and lives in the apartment across the hall! I think this is going to be such a great summer! There are 3 girls from Washington state also that that’s exciting.
