Munich!

So on Friday night we left our apartment all dressed up ready to go out for the weekend! We had our backpacks packed ready for the weekend and our dancing clothes on. We went to kaiserslautern around 11 put our back packs in lockers at the train station and went to the club near by called Nachtschicht. It was a crazy club there were 4 dance floors with different types of music! It was crazy like something out of a movie! Im pretty sure all the Germany people there were on ecstasy! We had a lot of fun there but around 3 AM we left the club and went back to the train station we got on a train and then took a 7 hour train ride complete with 4 changes and a few layovers we didn’t think we would make! There was one train that went though a town called Kissing and we were delayed for 30 min because someone was kissing on the train tracks and they had to call the police and get the couple off the tracks, or at least that’s what the man next to us said because the message they said over the inter com was in German…. Anyways once we go there at like 10 am we went to our hostel to check it out! It was pretty nice some of our friends were staying in one called the wombat and that was really nice. About 5 feet next to that one was the one I stayed at called jaegers. That was more shady but still decent I slept in a 40 person room! After we went there we went to Dachau concentration camp. It was a surreal experience. I got chills at some points. I already knew most of the history but actually seeing a crematorium and the gas chambers was eerie. I couldn’t believe that this happened less than 100 years ago.
After that we went back to our hostel went out on the town for a little and then back to bed. It had been a long day and on that night I realized that I hadn’t slept since Thursday night and it was then Saturday night. Then we woke up early on Sunday and went to a art museum. It was crazy we saw a Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, and Rubens! It was crazy hearing and seeing pictures of these famous paintings and finally seeing it! All in all its been an amazing trip so far!
